People reach out for many reasons, but one thing they have in common is that something in their life has become painfully unmanageable. 

Counselling and Psychotherapy can be a shoulder to lean on when everyday life becomes a struggle. It can also be the place where you uncover and address life-long issues that have been holding you back. 

If you are considering reaching out, you are probably feeling a mixture of fear and hope. 

That is completely normal. The idea of talking to a stranger about things you wouldn’t share with your closest friends can be intimidating. It might also feel risky to invest time and resources without being completely sure of what you’ll get out of it. This is completely normal too.

The retreat was an amazing chance to take a break and revise your values and where you would like to be heading in life. With it being connected to the beach and nature was another key prominent feature that brought in even more peace. The Retreat with Nawar and her team was a whole new experience of connection and healing. This experience allowed me to connect with my authentic self and likeminded people in a beautiful environment where we shared our stories in a very safe and welcoming space. Nawar changed my life.

We have been working together for over a year now and there is a great difference from the Alina of last year and Alina of today.

I had shattered my life completely. I broke up, moved out, and I was at a stage where I was prone to repeat some really bad patterns in my life. Bad relationships, bad behaviour, losing more than I had lost already.

Through a recommendation I reached out to her. I’ve always been against the idea of therapy, but she seemed the perfect therapist to break through that. She’s patient, kind, extremely knowledgeable and she’s got the experience and qualifications that make her the perfect choice for a fussy client (like myself).

The most important part for me is that she never put me in a box, to try and make me fit a particular model of therapy. She always uses models as starting points, gives me plenty of helpful resources that I can go find myself, but it’s the fact that can nail it with one single word and the penny just drops. And you end up thinking that maybe she’s just a little bit magic!

Nawar is the best choice for anyone who wants a therapist that is intelligent, kind, non-judgemental and truly integrative.
